Inside the New Alliance Party

n.p. the author, n.d. 4p., 8.5x11 inch sheets stapled together at upper left corner, very good. Also included is "Is the New Alliance Party pro-Black and Black-led?," a photocopy of a 1988 article by Serrette from Radical America.

Serrette, the 1984 presidential nominee of the New Alliance Party, describes his break from it. "As a long-time activist who made the mistake of joining NAP, and who served on the organization's 'Central Committee,' I believe that I have a responsibility to reveal the intense psychological control and millions of dollars Fred Newman employs to get the well-meaning individuals into our communities to viciously attack Black leaders, Black institutions, and progressive institutions for purposes of building Newman's power base." Undated, but likely produced around 1990, when the Peace and Freedom Party was resisting infiltration by the New Alliance Party.
