[6p] 6.75x10 inches, decorative endpapers, illustrations, very good limted edition #85/125 copies, chapbook in sewn black wraps with skyline die-cut top edge with fold-out satellite dish design and copper, Genie lamp cover illustration, paired with matching accordion-fold booklet of ten illustrations, some signed by the artists. The spine label bears a couple of light flecks, could be in the paperstock (i.e., not damage). A fine copy in drop-back box designed and executed by Kent Aldrich at his Nomadic Press, maroon cloth and floral paper over boards to box, red carpet and white pebbled linoleum within.
This short piece by the African American novelist came in three versions; a chapbook limited to 200 copies and two special, boxed limited editions. This is the standard edition of 125 copies, unsigned by the author but with separate booklet of artworks, several signed by the artists.
