Sao Paulo: uncredited [the photographer, or a trade association], 1938. Pamphlet. 16p., softbound pamphlet in 8.5x8 inch stapled self-wraps, fullpage captioned photographic studies throughout reproduced in sepia rotogravure, three of which cleverly-composed collages. The absence of publishing information suggests the item was issued with a coverleaf, now lost. The staples are badly rusted with migration especially at centerfold, two center-folded leaves were misbound in the bindery leaving small triangular crimps in the lower gutter, outer leaves are edgeworn with some creasing, entire pamphlet has suffered an old vertical crease which, while now largely flattened out, faintly affects several of the plates. A good-only copy. Imagery runs from coffee-plantation residences and a rural school, to details of sorting and bagging with men and women workers in action.
