The Body Group was formed in 1971 as an outgrowth of an earlier group, the Troupe, an attempt to form a family of political comrades. This workshop was Body Group's first attempt to make their theory public.Says Rossman, "So I turned to body not only for solace and diversion, but also as a political man seeking essential tools and programs."
