Trinidadian playwright. An important Caribbean play and the first of a series of Evergreen playscripts. The play had been produced all over including an Off-Broadway run. Originally published in the UK in 1958 and winner of the 1957 Observer play competition. This production starred James Earl Jones & Cicely Tyson.
