Hardcover. 178p., splendidly illustrated with a dozen or so fullpage color reproductions of classic marine paintings, plus a couple of snazzy "now departing" ads printed in San Francisco, and other period images. Hardbound in 10x7 inch blue cloth boards with clipper silhouette in gold, in color dust jacket. Very nice condition, we see only one flaw, the foredge of textblock has a sprinkle of foxing. The jacketed book is else completely clean, unmarked, and absolutely sound. Portsmouth Marine Society publication five.
