Algeria; a synthesis of civilizations
[Paris]: 1961. 141p., consists entirely in profuse b&w aerial photos of terraine and cities reproduced in good-quality gravure, with minimal captioning. A large fold-out map in colors is bound in at the back. First edition 8.5x10.5 inch titled white wraps in a sur-wrapper or dj with rather pedestrian photodecoration. Mildly edgeworn, the jacket much more so with a bad tear at the head. A brief preface makes no mention of French suppression of the independence movement.
