Grape growing in the Niagara peninsula; reprinted from the annual report of the fruit branch for 1909

Toronto: Ontario Department of Agriculture, [1912]. 40p., plenty of b&w photographic plates and vignettes, once-sewn signature in plain printed blue wraps. Threads now lost, leaves are still in register and should be easy to rethread (so why don't we? no needle). All margins are faintly damp stained, no mustiness or adhesions, somewhat wrinkled with handling. Bulletin 202, May 1912.

"With the development of the grape industry" [beginning circa 1860] "we also had a development of the wine industry. There are five wineries in the Niagara Peninsula, which used 2,400 tons of grapes in the fall of 1909." Photos show varietals, systems of training vines, pests.
