Psinakis was a businessman in the Philippines with ten years residency and acquaintance with the Marcoses. He was in his native Greece when martial law was declared, did not return to the islands but to San Francisco California where he was close to the Philippine-American community. "The author's activities include contacts with opposition leaders in the Philippines, not only political leaders but also underground guerrillas.." Imelda talked with him in her Waldorf Astoria suite in NY -- while her husband was having him tried in absentia. Those crazy dictators!
