Hartford: privately printed (at The Case, Lockwood & Brainard Co. Printers), 1874. 120p., photographic frontispiece mounted on cardstock leaf hinged with cloth; cloth boards titled gilt, decorative roll in black. Slightly edgeworn, frontis with title page attached has begun to start from its lower threads.
Death by bill-paying; Capron contracted pneumonia on a lengthy walk to settle school accounts during a blustery cold day. There seems to have been left behind persons not only fond of him but ready to say and write so. The Capron phiz is a rather modern one in a very old fashioned beard; the photographic image is in fine shape, slightly more that 4 x 2.25 inches in a ruled panel.
