Le communisme contre dieu avec 84 illustrations

Paris: Edition C.E.A. no date (late 1930s). 104p., text and illustrations on newsprint, squareback 9.5 x 6 inch booklet in b&w pictorial wraps titled in red; badly bumped at a top corner, paperstock browned but not brittle. Otherwise, mild edgewear, and a small score-line on back cover.

Numerous low-resolution images, usually three or four to a page, of antireligious propaganda in the USSR & Balkans. Includes about three dozen reproductions of posters, cartoons, plus staged photos either criticizing or lampooning religion / theology / Christ, usually imputing collaboration with big capital, expropriation and social control of the working classes.
Also extensive (but not systematic) reproduction of historic photographs showing burning of icons, demolished churches, a mosque turned into film studio (per caption).
Very possibly run up specifically (while indirectly) to deflect sympathy from rumblings just across the Pyranees.
