Testimony of Rev. James H. Robinson; hearing before the Committee on Un-American Activities, House of Representatives, eighty-eighth Congress, second session, May 5, 1964, including index

Washington: GPO, 1964. v, 49p. + v index, wraps.

The Tennessee-born African American minister/theologian, while serving as director of Operation Crossroads Africa, came under fire by the Committee because volunteering college students were "given orientation training, including instruction on communism and Communist tactics, prior to their overseas service." The Committee pursued its usual tactics, while Robinson denied any involvement with the CP after his views changed in the 1940s.
