David Scott: a mayor for our neighborhoods [handbill/brochure]
San Francisco: David Scott for Mayor, [1978]. Six-panel mailer/handbill folded to7x8.5 inches illustrated with b&w photos, red and black lettering on white stock, very good.
Scott, a gay bank executive, ran a progressive campaign against 'moderate' Diane Feinstein (still drenched in Harvey's blood) and conservative Quentin Kopp (depicted here as Teedledum & Tweedledee with a red X through them). He made an excellent showing, then ran for supervisor in the next election, sandbagged district elections, and disappeared from the scene.
