Hardcover. 66p. + 56 color plates and other internal illustrations, a few pencil notations, 9x12.5 inch hardbound in lovely rough linen titled in black; has a very presentable dust jacket. This dj was once taped to book's pastedowns in a now-discarded brodart, the dj is near-fine but find tape residue at pastedowns' margins. Titlepage bears a pencilled translation of the Hungarian title: it reads "On the Kner family and the Hungarian Art of Books." An inked ownership inscription on the ffep tells us the item was purchased Budapest 1981. All in all a very good copy.
