Chatham: the college, [1891 or earlier]. Paperback. Unpaginated, about 28p., printed in black (text) and red (page-frames) on alkaline paperstock throughout; staplebound softback in 10x6.5 inch wraps, gilt-titled cover showing facade (wood engraved) of college on the back. Adhesion scar from ancient mailing envelope mars the front, staples are rusted with some migration. A corner crease affects cover and adjacent leaves, an otherwise sound clean copy. Find five fullpage illustrations (crisp strikes) showing students and employed graduates hard at work in snug quarters, a portrait of the mustacio'd principal (very crisp!), and four pages of beauteous penmanship. Laid in is an ad leaf for the upcoming 1891 Summer School, folded to make a 4p. brochure (8.5x6.5 inches; study, plus tennis, watersports and 'moonlight evenings') and premiums (free stuff) for 'subscribers'.
