San Francisco: Chthon Press, 1969. 20p., staplebound wraps, cover illustration of a bearded hippie smiling as he wipes his bottom with sheets of Hebrew-covered toiled paper, the feces behind him giving off brilliant rays. Rear cover and interior of front cover foxed,
Satirical underground publication, including a script titled "Who killed JFK," a Japanese shunga centerfold, "A Child's garden of foreigners" with stereotyped cartoons, a "Breath of God" column by Mary Jane Superweed, and a parody of "American the Beautiful" ("O beautiful for peace of mind / That television brings / To apathetic cabbages / Who dream of being kings..."). John Mann, editor, is described as the founder of the John Hazeltwig Society - "An obversive limp wing organization which advocates the overhaul of the existing system by farce." We are unsure if this is the same John Mann who founded the psychedelic "Church of the Tree of Life" soon after this publication.
