Douglas Airview. [two wartime issues with anti-Japanese "Tokio Kid" back covers]

Santa Monica, CA: Douglas Aircraft Company, Inc. 1943. Two issues of the company magazine, 42p. each, August and November 1943; latter issue has one page loose but present. Both have back cover propaganda illustrations featuring the "Tokio Kid," a fanged Japanese man with blood-dripping sword.

Pointing to an ideas box, the Tokio Kid (based on Hirohito) says "Keep box empty, ideas not fair, too many Zeros knocking from air. Thank you."
