A Grammatical Sketch of the Heve Language, translated from an unpublished Spanish manuscript
New York: Cramoisy Press, 1861. Pamphlet. 26p., folio leaves of calendared paperstock, the eccentric presswork puts 8vo print-blocks (i.e., 6x4 inch text on 13.5 x 10.5" leaves), disbound with old glue and calf fragments along left margin, issued with four preliminary blanks and four terminal blanks. All margins dampstained extensively without impinging on print-blocks; if trimmed to octavo size most staining would disappear, but not all; we have taken the liberty of removing a half-inch from top, bottom and foredges, neatly enough except for creating a small chip to first blank. As is, a reading copy. Library of American Linguistics III.
