One of 500 copies, so noted on rear cover in one of the more colorful limitations you will read: "... privately printed ... in an edition of 500 copies, 25 of which are bound by hand and signed by the authors and 5 of which are signed and stained with the blood of each poet." This copy, alas, one of the unsigned and unbloodied. Black fabric tape spine. "Poetry" by Donald Schenker followed by "Poems" by David Meltzer. Variously reported as being printed in 1957, 1958, even 1960, in David Schenker's second book ("Say X"), a 1957 date is given for this publication which agrees with the majority of listings on-line and most OCLC copies and that's good enough for us! Meltzer's first book as well, preceding his 1959 first solo book effort ("Ragas"). Wear to edges including some fraying to tape at top and bottom of spine. Covers soiled.
