Tokyo: Riverside Press, 1996. 143p., very good in wraps. Text in Japanese.
The focus of this richly illustrated book is on the dolphins of the Bahamas; it includes text narrating the author’s interaction with them in the course of fieldwork from 1985 to 1996. The author describes himself as one of Japan’s few “full-fledged naturalists;” he has worked as a science journalist and editor, traveling the globe documenting marine mammals since the 1980s and documenting them in numerous publications.
