[32p] includes covers, 8.5x11 inches, b&w photos and two pages of tipped-in thumbnail color reproductions, very good catalogue of the exhibition in stapled pictorial wraps with tipped-on color cover illustration of Nijinsky dancing Spectre de la Rose.
Stowitts grew up and was educated in Berkeley in the early 1900s and became an accomplished ballet dancer who toured with Anna Pavlova and then became an actor and painter in Hollywood. His American Champions show of nude male athletes which included African Americans and Jewish athletes was shut down by the Nazis at the 1936 Olympics.
