Berlin (West): the newspaper, 1969-1970. Ten issues of the radical newspaper, tabloid format, evenly toned with varying amounts of edgewear. Issues present are 38, 41, 43, 44, 47-49, 56, 68 and 72. No. 72 has two small holes neatly punched at the margin, not affecting printed portion.
Beginning as a Marxist paper associated with the radical student movement, Agit 883 went through several stages, including a period of support for underground armed militancy (it published the RAF's programmatic statement in 1970), but in the spring of 1971 that faction split away from the editorial collective. By the end of its run it had become an anti-Leninist anarchist publication.
