S.I.R. was an extremely important homophile organization in the 1960s and 1970s in San Francisco. They published "Vector Magazine" and produced all-male stage shows of classic theatre as well as the Coronation events. More inclined to entertainment and less political than Mattachine or One, Inc. they were still quite influential especially in the Bay Area.
