Cat.No: 197706 Twinpak. Norman Ogue Mustill.

Twinpak

San Francisco: The Nova Broadcast Press, 1969. [24p] 4.5x7.75 inches, collages, faux-comic strip utilizing Burroughs' & Gysin's 'cut-up' technique, very good booklet in stapled white and yellow wraps. Nova Broadcast series #6, edited by Jan Jacob Herman.

Mustill is a collage-artist who worked with Burroughs in the 1950s-1960s. The second section of this chapbook is comprised of "A Shockumentary" which features a super-hero comic striplayout of a figure in various classic action poses. But the"hero" is merely a cut-out shape revealing pieces of text and music within the shape. Much like Bryon Gysin and William S. Burroughs using "cut-ups" to form texts. Distributed by City Lights Books.
