n.p. n.pub. ca. 1997. Plastic baggie containing a capsule filled with multicolored candy granules, stapled shut with a paper label based on a color original by artist Dana Wyse. The paper label is creased and worn but fully legible. We do not know whether Wyse was involved in the production of these pieces for distribution in the Bay Area, or whether it was imitation by local activists.
The verso of the paper label reads: "The Young Republicans for Heterosexuals understand that life should not be a gamble. We understand the importance of planning ahead to secure the brightest future for your child. And we understand every loving parent's fear... Why wait 18 years to hear your child say 'Daddy, there's something I think you should know.' One pill taken by mothers during pregnancy will ensure healthy sexuality for your baby. Rest assured."
