Garden City, New York: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1924. Hardcover. xv, 178p., rubricated title page, first edition (so stated). Hardbound in damaged dust jacket, 7.5x5 inch maroon cloth boards gilt-lettered; spine title dim with bright cover titling, head and tail rims crimped, front endsheet covered with old ownership notes (owner's name, city, redundant information), otherwise the volume is free of any markings and quite sound. The dust jacket (printed red and black on buff stock) is browned with large chips missing from head and tail (title, publisher's slug gone, author-lines remain), all foldlines heavily abraded with adjacent chipping, texts on dj panels unaffected, rubrication still bright; dj now in archival-grade brodart to size. All in all, a good copy.
