The realist [no.123]; Spring, 1993

Venice: The Realist, 1993. Newspaper. Unfastened lavender self-wraps on good-quality alkaline paperstock, 8p., 11 x 8.5 inches, two old folds as for mailing but now flat, near fine. Lead story (2p. with cartoon) is a transcription of a HOT telephonic communication between Clyde Tolson and J.Edgar Hoover that is interrupted by a call from Frank Costello about some photos Frank has; followed by a call placed by Hoover to President Nixon setting up a tryst. Inside find two more squibs on gay life, these somewhat more factual. Last page yields a corresponding rumor, that "conceptual artist Christo is placing a gigantic skirt around the FBI building."
