Brookline Village, MA: NOAR, 1980. Four-panel brochure, 7x8.5 inches, very good. Issued during the celebrations of Boston's 350th anniversary, discussing the social and ethnic problems plaguing the city even as it revitalized its downtown.
The group was founded by James and Grace Lee Boggs. They argued that, although a revolution would one day take place, the immediate goal of activists should be to empower and cultivate leaders among their ranks "so that we can stop seeing ourselves as victims and start exercising the power within us to control our own destiny."
