Philadelphia: NOAR, 1981. 8.5x14 inch sheet printed both sides, folded to make 4-panel brochure, very good; together with the cover letter that was sent out with it.
The group was founded by James and Grace Lee Boggs. They argued that, although a revolution would one day take place, the immediate goal of activists should be to empower and cultivate leaders among their ranks "so that we can stop seeing ourselves as victims and start exercising the power within us to control our own destiny." This brochure asks the reader to avoid the consumerist mindset of the holidays and to challenge friends and family to create new traditions not based on capitalism.
