Washington DC: Liberation News Service / New Media Project, 1968. [28p.] 8.5x11 inches, staplebound at upper left, very good; special issue of LNS with "Women's" added over the masthead.
LNS was the primary news service providing radical movement news and comment to the underground press. This packet is devoted to women's movement materials including Diane Di Prima's Revolutionary Letters the third of which is datelined "June 1968 communications company / ny," Michelle Clark on radical nuns, and Margie Stamberg's "Foray into the Straight World: the adventures of a hungry girl freak" about a temporary secretarial job with the Florida Citrus Commission. An addendum section is included at the end with non-women's movement news such as the release of Eldridge Cleaver in Oakland, and a biting assessment of the defense strategies of the Boston Five.
