Seattle: SCAT, et al, 1978. Plain orange folder, 9.5x11.5 inches, with organizational contact info rubberstamped on front, containing a cover letter to activists and supporters together with twenty-two different leaflets and brochures opposing the initiative that would amend Seattle's Fair Employment and Open Housing ordinances to remove prohibitions against discrimination by sexual orientation. Aside from SCAT and the WCSMR, the two organizations whose contact information is on the folder, some materials are by the Citizens to Retain Fair Employment.
Much discussion on the collateral damage to straight people if it becomes legal to discriminate against gay employees, as the personal conduct of every individual would become open to scrutiny. Leaflets include fact sheets with statistics on local employment, Seattle's gay community, etc.
