Paris: Éditions Corrêa, 1939. Paperback. 220p., text in French, illustrated with plates from b&w photos, unopened pages, very good first edition paperback in cream wraps illustrated and designed by E. Berman in black and red on buff: shows a Dali-esque dancer. item is near fine. The item furthermore is enclosed in a protective throwaway dj with Art Deco design: an ephemeral second jacket, orange and black on greyish buff advertising an insurance company --drawing of factory and architect's muse and lovely stippled image of castle on the rear panel-- spine shows a geometric abstraction-- bookmark in same vein is laid in. A very attractive wraparound in clean sound shape, very nice presswork on the book, a very pleasant item altogether.
