Announces the formation of the Committee and outlines examples of exploitation in Indonesia, breaking the promises of democracy after the Japanese were driven out in World War II. HUAC labeled the Committee a communist front organization. Its main branch in New York, called the American Committee for Indonesian Independence, counted WEB DuBois on its roster.
