San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Entire superstructure including cables supplied and erected by United States Steel Corporation Subsidiaries

San Francisco: the bureau, 1936. 37p., coated paperstock throughout with numerous diagrams, photographs and artists' renderings; softbound in 6.5x5 inch stapled buff wraps titled and decorated in black. Wraps externally mildly dust- and handling-soiled with some faint stains to back cover; entirely clean within and quite sound, a very good copy. Text begins with the boast that we have here "The World's largest bridge for at least a thousand years;" find good diagrams including a cut-away of the huge piers, which turn out to be mostly hollow at top, solid at the bottom.
