Literature published during Smith's 1973 trial for breaking parole. His original 1972 arrest was in Louisiana for leafleting on Angela Davis's case. He was chair of the Los Angeles Young Workers Liberation League (the Communist Party's youth organization) and had also been involved in organizing against police brutality.
