Correspondence from Metropolitan Bishop of gay People's Church ("a Radical Gay Christian evangelical, sacramental & apostolic Ecumenical Church-Community") to a member of his flock who had strayed to San Francisco. The bishop urges that the Brother-Deacon request joint jurisdiction in writing and invites him to the Holy Synod, offering a list of possible rides ("although if worse comes to worse, you can hitch as you have done before"). Attached also is an article published by Itkin in Maverick, a gay NY newspaper, a leaflet announcing the weekly Freedom Meal (Holy Eucharist) at a site in Greenwich Village, and the Articles of Faith in nonsexist language. Icon includes a crying dove and double female and male symbols.
