Denver: Western Federation of Miners, 1910, 1914. Two typed letters, signed by Ernest Mills, secretary-treasurer of the WFM, to J.F. Milligan (secretary of the Pony branch in 1910) and B.O. Pannell (secretary in 1914), plus a receipt from 1910 reflecting the local's payment of its dues of $12.00. Both letters are brief, one thanking Milligan for paying dues, the other thanking Pannell for a report that had been received. Mills' signature on the letters is in fountain pen; on the dues receipt it is a rubberstamp. The letterhead for the 1910 letter has a simple but beautiful mountain vignette at the top with the name of the union in silvery cursive letters.
