New York: Dodd, Mead and Company, 1923. Hardcover. xi, 94p., rubricated titlepage, untrimmed foredge and top-edge tint, first edition hardbound in quarter cloth and dust jacket, with printed paper spine label. Scattered faint foxing to casebinding and textblock; jacket (printed black title in red panel) is badly chipped at most extremities, but is paradoxically rather fresh. A very good copy. The title is no accident; all verse concerns walking or the poet watching walkers walk, usually quattrains, and possibly influenced by exposure to "Prufrock."
