The Teachers' Freedom Party was critical of the United Federation of Teachers in New York, and focused on issues of racial discrimination in the schools and rank and file organizing. Much of the content of these issues discusses conflict with the UFT over matters related to community control of schools in Black and Puerto Rican neighborhoods.
