Bronx, NY: the Co-op, 1968. Underground newspaper by students at the Bronx High School of Science; mimeographed on both sides of a single 10x14 inch sheet, folded into quarters with a closed tear at one edge, minor soil. Penned note at bottom of one side states "'Authorized' dissident newspaper." Not found in OCLC.
Includes "Helpful hints for hairy horny happy hippy homemakers," an invitation to a "festival of life" in the principal's office ("bring music, dance, freedom, and love for the suspeced students") and a description of a confrontation between students and police on the campus as the students awaited a visit by Jerry Rubin (who, it is said, got stoned on the subway and forgot entirely to show up).
