Leather Bound. 428p., 8.4x5.4 inches, mid 19thC polished calf boards panelled gilt, spine richly tooled and rolled with brown and red labels gilt, all edges tinted. Upper joint is somewhat abraded but not split, hinges sound, mild dings here and there, pastedown shows shadow of successful bookplate removal. Scattered light foxing, one ownership signature dated 1845 (Mary Isabella Shiffner?). A nice copy. NB: texts are complete in themselves, compilation is incomplete.
