Leaflet promoting a raffle to fund CP local candidates in the 1951 SF election for seats on the Board of Supervisors; Oleta O'Connor Yates ran for the Board from her cell in an LA prison that year. Raffle money was collected by her husband, Allan Yates.The FBI arrested Yates, California State Secretary of the Communist Party, in Los Angeles on 26 July 1951 for violation of the Smith Act. Her husband filed her candidacy for a seat of the SF Board of Supervisors in early October 1951.
