Geography on a Popular Plan, designed for the use of schools, and young persons: illustrated with sixty copper-plates. Fifth edition

London: Printed for Richard Phillips, 1808. xii, folded maps as called for, plates as called for, 7x4 inch full calf boards with raised bands and red leather spine label gilt. Front cover detached, rear nearly so, spine panel has suffered multiple vertical splits (one of which bisects label) echoing multiple started signatures. Textblock is cracked in numerous places but is holding. Maps appear intact with a few misfoldings, several are secured with ancient scotch tape bits, likewise some of the plates. Note that the leather casing is completely enclosed in an old semi-translucent jacket which we have thought best not to remove. Research copy.
