[San Francisco]: author, 1994. 60p., printed dark blue on pale grey stock, first book edition staplebound 8.5x5.5 inch wraps. A clean sound very good copy, inscribed and signed by Marina Lazzara the year following publication. Laid in is a curious bookmark, black ink on acetate, looks like it belongs with the booklet.
Title page text continues, seguing into dedications and acknowledgements. Of particular interest: "Special thanks to the Processed World collective and the Poetics Department at new College of California." Thanks magazines in which poems made a first appearance including PW, where also some of Swanson's illustrations first gurgled. One of the prose pieces here is 5p. on tending bar in SF, another longer one on "thrifting," which is not exclusively concerned with purchases.
