Matched set casings, half calf with dark green alligator finish over 8.2x6 inch marbled boards with spine-title and rulings gilt, marbled endsheets, t.e.g. Largely unopened, opened neatly where so done, maps appear folded perfectly, a few bear short tears where stubbed in. Bindings are sound, with extremity abrasion along edges, joints, raised bands; leather appears intact except for fraction loss along top rim of vol.1 and minute glimpses of card at corner tips. A very good pair, should respond well to adroit sophistication.
