A bit edgeworn, head and tail mildly crimped, spine lettering dim though legible, good copy, signed: bears presentation inscription on the ffep. Moreover, presentee has crudely glued to pastedown a rectangle of kraft paper author used as mailing label, and which bears Mrs. Lowenberg's holograph return and recipient's name (Mrs. Whitcomb) and address (Seventh Ave., the city). Whitcomb was "my friend in the W.P.C. Press Club." *Hanna 2245.
