Three items related to the pacifist march which began in San Francisco, made its way to the east coast and flew to London to continue the walk to oppose nuclear weapons and war. Items present are: "We are walking to Moscow," a handbill printed in English one one side and Russian on the other, printed in Finsbury Park (England), outlining the purpose of the march and calling for Gandhian resistance to violence; two pages of mimeographed notes from the March 7, 1961 meeting of the "Committee to Welcome San Francisco-Moscow Walk" in Philadelphia, discussing arrangements for speaking engagements, vigils and hosting the walkers; and an 8.5x11 inch flyer designed for pubplic posting, announcing a Philadelphia rally featuring the marchers after their return from Moscow.
