Letters are addressed to Antonio Velao (former minister of public works in Republican Spain) in Mexico City, and Rodrigo Gil (who headed "Hogar Espanol") in London.
Negrin was the former prime minister of the Spanish Republic, who maintained this title in exile. These public transcripts of his correspondence were produced for the edification of supporters.
