Paris: L. Carteret, Editeur, 1927. Paperback. viii, 101p., text in French, letterpress on Rives, mostly unopened and where opened perfect, title and tailpieces mauve and gray, deep blue titling, 10.2x7 inch in unprinted wraps in frenchfold decorated wrapper and isinglass sur-wrapping. No.385 of 500 (of 650), a very nice copy. Isinglass is very darkened, mildly brittle with short splits midway up the spine panel and small chips; isinglass has also picked up a small stain lower corner, which did not penetrate to the jacketed volume (we carefully unfolded and checked). The Maurice Ray contributions are leafy motifs and restrained human figures.
