Unpaginated manuscript, elegant handwritten Tibetan text in dark blue pen on lined paper, paired with mock-up of the English cover as prepared for publication at Berkeley, 8.5x11 inches, bound with large paperclip; together with similarly prepared text for the Aryaprajnaparamitahrdayatika, 'Phags-pa shes-rab-kyi pha-rol-tu phyin-p'ai snying-p'oi rgya-cher 'grel-pa bzhugs-so, a commentary on the Heart Sutra. Also included is a similarly prepared, but smaller format, version of "Mu-thi-la'i phreng ba and Mes po'i zhal-lung, two didactic poems written by the fifth Dalai Lama (1617-1682)," dated 1966. The printed version of the Shes-rab-kyi pha-rol-tu phyin-paii snying-po is also included.
The Tibetan writing is in the DaLama Namgyal Dorje's own hand, from his time in Berkeley.
